How Much or How Big Is a "Serving"
 

Eating nine daily servings of fruit and vegetables is less daunting once you realize just how small a "serving" really is.

1 medium piece of fruit
½ cup cooked or raw fruit or vegetables
¾ cup (6 ounces) 100-percent fruit or vegetable juice
1 cup raw, leafy greens (the darker the greens the better)
¼ cup dried fruit
½ cup beans (pinto, garbanzo, kidney, black, etc) or peas/legumes (lentils, dried peas)
